Carol Butler has been a registered Democrat her entire adult life. She is interested in environmental protection, social justice, and protecting the rural spaces and lifestyle of South County. Carol and her husband are avid sailors, and they moved to Edgewater in 2015 so that they could sail more often.
Carol says, “ I joined the South County Democratic Club so that I could live my values and support candidates who represent my interests and opinions. After Trump was elected president, I knew it was high time to get involved, especially at the local level, in the Democratic party. I wanted to meet like-minded Democrats, and to make sure I back up my words with donations and volunteer activities.”
